Individual Therapy

Individual psychotherapy is a personalized therapeutic service designed to help individuals address emotional, mental, and behavioural challenges. At Wright Psychological Services (WPS), we offer psychotherapy to adolescents and adults (14-65), focusing on creating a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Sessions can address a wide range of issues such as:

  • Anxiety

  • Compulsive behaviours

  • Chronic Pain

  • Depression

  • Life transitions

  • Low motivation

  • Panic attacks

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Stress

  • Trauma, including Acute Stress Disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Adjustment Disorder
     

Our team consists of Registered Social Workers (RSW), Clinical Associates (supervised by a registered clinical psychologist), Psychological Associates (supervised practice), and registered Clinical Psychologists, all trained to guide you through evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs and goals. Whether in-person or online, therapy is an opportunity for self-growth and healing.

Fees 


Rates for individual therapy sessions at WPS can range from $160-250. Fees for psychotherapy and psychological services are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). Many extended healthcare benefit providers offer partial or full coverage for psychotherapy with Registered Social Workers (RSW) and Registered Psychotherapists (RP), as well as psychological services with a registered Psychological Associate or Clinical Psychologist, or those supervised by them. We encourage you to consult with your extended healthcare benefits provider to confirm the details of your coverage.
