Meet the Team

Chris Wright, M.A., C.Psych.

Chris is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO), and the owner of Wright Psychological Services. He is here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. Chris truly cares about his clients’ well-being and will work collaboratively with you to better understand and manage the problems you are experiencing. 

Chris works with adolescents and adults and has experience helping people with various problems, including:

Samantha Platten, M.A., Clinical Associate (supervised)

Samantha is in the process of completing her post-degree clinical hours to register as a Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO). She practices under the direct supervision of Chris Wright, M.A., C.Psych.

Samantha offers a compassionate, nonjudgmental space that fosters strong collaboration with clients. She works with adult populations (18+) with varying mental health and related concerns, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and life stressors. She primarily uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients live more authentic, meaningful lives and move towards what they truly want for themselves.

Kristin Hanhimaki, RSW

Kristin is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers & Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). With nearly 25 years of experience in mental healthcare, Kristin's practice employs a warm, encouraging environment to cultivate a collaborative approach to care.

Utilizing treatment models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused approaches, mindfulness, as well as trauma-informed care, Kristin is committed to helping adolescents and adults overcome depression, anxiety, and other life stressors that can affect us all at some time in our lives, with a particular interest in insomnia.

Sheri S bio pic

Sheri Sugeng, MSW, RSW

Sheri is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers & Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and has over 20 years of experience in mental healthcare. She has a Master of Social Work degree and has extensive training in both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and is a certified therapist with the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. Sheri works from a collaborative, strengths-based approach assisting and supporting clients through significant life challenges. She works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviours, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and trauma.
